Long time no see!

We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). Both are active, well-established forums with their own archives, chatrooms, reference material, and abundant coding tools and resources. We'll see you there, we hope.

Long time no see!

Hello everybody, long time no see! It's awesome to see all you again! I currently have summer break, so I may be AFK at times. How is your summer breaks coming along for you guys?

For me:
I have been making programs on my calculator, and playing a TON of Animal Crossing: New Leaf on my 3DS xl. It's not a 'fun' summer as other people will say, since parents would always say: "You guys don't have a life! You should be outside playing and making friends!" (XD)

I hope you guys are having a good summer!

I am also preparing for High-school in August, which is not very fun…(Several Parent Lectures), and making up a failing grade in Human Geography via Eastshore Online from my first semester.

Any tips for highschool?

Tips for high school:

1: Make friends. Meet people. Most likely, most of your friends in high school probably won't be the friends from your middle school days. It is important to have real friends, not just online acquaintances you've never met.

2: Get involved. Do stuff to serve your community. Hang out with your friends. The internet is nice, but you can have too much of a good thing.

3: Be responsible. As you gain more responsibilities, you will be expected to be more responsible. Make sure others can trust you.

4: Listen to the advice other people give, especially if you already know it. Older people love to tell young whippersnappers about life, and if you listen to them as if they're telling you something you don't know, you've made their day. They don't want to hear that you already know what you're telling them, they just want to give you advice.

5: Work hard. Work out your own personal and emotional needs by yourself so you can help others.

Tips from a graduate:

1. Literally don't worry. Nothing is as bad as you think it will be.

2. Work hard, play hard.

3. Find your niche/clique. Everybody's got one, and high school always (perhaps unfortunately) splits into them. Synergize with your people.

4. Be thinking about college, but don't stress yourself out. Refer to #1.

5. Become friends with teachers you like. Learn to tolerate teachers you don't.
