Bad Token in TI Connect CE

I tried grabbing a couple games to put on my new TI 84+ CE but every time I try to open the .8xp file in TI Connect CE it always gives me the Bad Token error saying "A Token in MINES.8xp is invalid, so we are not able to open it." is there any way to fix this error?

Look through the code and check to see if there are any tokens that you usually would not be able to access on the calculator.

EDIT: Some of these tokens are not able to send to or receive from the calculator.

Tokens like E0, F2, D6, stuff like that. Make sure they are not unicode characters either. You cannot send any tokens that are not specified in the image to or from the calculator.

That makes sense but how would I fix that problem without being able to open the code in the first place? like I said I downloaded the file, I didn't make it

I would try using TokenIDE, which should let you open it and recompile it

If TokenIDE fails, try using TiLP or the original TI-CONNECT. It sometimes send programs with those tokens, but TI-CONNECT CE doesn't for some reason.

To build normal programs:

1. In TokenIDE, there is a tab called "Build". Click it.
2. There should be an option to either build to a program, or a project. Select program.
3. Then, try to send to your calculator.
