Hi, I just started using this site because I wanted to master the TI-Basic programming language for a variety of reasons, including being able to create useful programs for when I need them for a class and so that I can have a stepping stone for more advanced programming languages (I already know some Java but very minimal knowledge). I was wondering if the walkthrough of this site goes over all the built-in programming functions of the TI-83/84. I'm not asking for this site to just hold my hand during my TI-Basic learning experience; I was just wondering if I was gonna learn all the features of the programming aspects of my calculator by going over the walkthrough so that I can apply the contents of the walkthrough to make an applicable program.
I have never looked at the walk through. The people here are usually helpful an can give you help with almost anything. I learned most of what I know just by talking about programs and reading the forum posts. I would imagine that the walk through would contain most of what you need to know. Any questions, just ask!
live the life because the life is good —vivir la vida, porque la vida es buena
Vie la vie que la vie est bonne quod est bonum vitae in vita
lebe das Leben, weil das Leben ist gut —vivere la vita, perché la vita è buona
the walk through doesn't go into every single command in depth, it more or less give you a basic understanding of where a command is suppose to be or what it should be categorized under. the walkthrough, in my opinion, doesnt tell you what each command is, i feel that it gives you the basic and lets you play around and develop your own style of coding. it was made in such a way that it guides you through the different aspects of calculator. However the entire wiki has detailed info about practically all commands. while the forum is always good, it would be slightly easier on us if you use the search bar and the wiki before you ask something.
oh and welcome to TI-Basic btw
The Silver Phantom welcomes you
