Help on my ti 84

Hey, so I saw Bio_Hazard1282 does not match any existing user name's "How to boot your calculator" tutorial, pretty fine. It said something about a ROM FAIL, which is what I am having problems with. Does it mean my ROM is broken? Curropted? Un-usable?

Maybe PM him and ask him about it, and ask him to edit the page, that is if he doesn't post here first. If it's not affecting how you use the calculator, I wouldn't worry about it though.

Here are some reasons that you are having this:

1. You might have something in your OS that is invalid. If you tried to run EPICFAIL (Assembly program ROM boot-code patch), and interupted the process, it will screw up your OS.
2. You have something in your Archive that is invalid or corrupted.

Like what Deoxal said, if it does not affect your daily calculator use, don't worry about it. It's probably a small problem in your ROM.

How to fix this. (to complete the Boot test)

1. Install the OS half-way (50%). Remove a battery. Hold [MODE], not [DELETE]. Re-insert the battery. Your calculator is checking your flash ROM. (This,will remove EVERYTHING on your calculator. Proceed only if you are 100% sure to do this)
2. Re-install the OS (yet again) and let it install in peace.
