Hi! some of you guys might know of a classic game called Elite. This game was first released for the BBC Micro computer in 1984 and was the very first game to use proper 3D graphics and an open world. The aim of the game was to earn the combat rating "Elite" by accumulating around 5,000 kills. When not shooting down pirates and innocent cargo haulers, you would buy items at low prices in certain star systems and then sell them for high prices in other systems, netting a cozy profit and allowing your to upgrade your ship.
I hav finished a large proportion of the game, things such as; trading, cargo, game saving, loading, system travel and galactic maps. However I would very much like to have some kind of graphics involved, preferably 3D graphics but I can see that this would be near impossible on a TI calculator. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could incorporate either 2D or 3D graphics in the game?
