I was just writing a comment in a thread on this forum, when I had a really cool idea for a huge project.
Now, we all know how TI did a mediocre job of documentation on how to program their calculators. Lets look at two of the goals of this wiki:
Related to the first goal, the second goal of this site is to be the nexus for TI-Basic information.
…
The last goal of this site is to create more TI-Basic programming documentation. The one major underdeveloped area in the TI community is quality documentation. We believe that this is because writing tutorials is not really a fun activity, and it does not receive the same recognition as creating a program or game. Nonetheless, documentation is essential to the success of the TI community.
Here it is: What if we copied all of the content on this wiki into a downloadable electronic manual for TI-Basic?
It would supersede the current manuals TI have already released, and would mean that we don't need to be on the internet to access this information.
We could use the "Printer Friendly" pages to construct each page. http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/printer--friendly/page For example: http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/printer--friendly/home
Now, what do you guys think?
