So I was wondering if after inputting into a string, if i could return a code of letters that correspond with certain numbers included in the string. Such as, if you input 123, ABC is returned. If you input 456, DEF is returned, etc. I was thinking of using the sub( command, but didn't know how to use it to its full extent. Heck, maybe it's not even necessary, but help?
So are you saying a number to alphabet translation like 92813 would be IBHAC? How would you accomadate for 0? Yes you can do that with sub( and instring(
The Silver Phantom welcomes you
length(Str1→B Str1 For(A,1,B Ans+sub("ABCDEFGHI",instring("123456789",sub(Str1,A,1)),1 End sub(Ans,B+1,B
I didn't test that, but it is the basic idea. The functions used are instring() and sub(). I hope this helps!
47%? Take a look and try to imagine how cool 100% will be. This has won zContest 2011 and made news on TICalc. This compromise between Assembly and BASIC parses like BASIC and is fast like assembly. Grammer 2
Lol I asked a question like this except for morse code… I understood the concept but had no idea how to create my own xD

"The Shadow Clan's presence must be like a whisper. Always felt, but never seen…"
