Hi, I was transferring my MirageOs App from my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition to my friend's TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition with my graph cable, and it throws a validation error. I sent him some of my programs to test if it was the cable itself, but they were successfully transferred. When the validation error is thrown, it states the TI-84 C does not have permission to run the App. Help?
MirageOS (or any other app made for the TI-83 Plus and 84 Plus Silver Edition models) will not run on a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition. The screen is different, as well as the memory layout.
You have to run games from the program menu (some requires the Asm(prgmNAME) syntax) or the APPS menu.

Yep. Basically, the 84+C has a lot of changes that are not at all backwards compatible. Apps designed for the 83+/84+ calcs would almost certainly cause a crash if run on an 84+C, so they use a different validation sequence so that users don't accidentally damage the calcs.
I guess be glad that it through the error :P Otherwise, if it had sent, you wouldn't be happy :) (or rather, your friend wouldn't be). There is some progress on making apps underway, but there will be a period of time before enough progress is made.
47%? Take a look and try to imagine how cool 100% will be. This has won zContest 2011 and made news on TICalc. This compromise between Assembly and BASIC parses like BASIC and is fast like assembly. Grammer 2
Likely not all programs will work anyway, due to the shortage of Libs such as ION,Celtic II/III, etc. that Mirage uses to run the programs. Not to mention that MirageOS ruins calculators…
