I've used this routine to store user input into a list. It really is handy because you can create a list with whatever name you want, while the number of strings is limited. It looks like this: (the code is part of a Data Sheet creator program, MNEMON)

Note:Str8 is the string with most of the important tokens stored in.
Note2:∟SHT is the list I use to store the program's data in.
