I don't how you guys are going to take to this one, but I think it would be interesting to see how you guys came up with your screen names (as opposed to using your real name). It also serves another purpose, as I suck at creating stuff like that; just look at my name if you don't believe me.

I just decided not to do the whole 'alias' thing, for two reasons:

1. My name is unique, I bet I'm the only "James Kanjo" on this planet;
2. Long lost friends of mine can see my name on the internet, click on it, find a link to my MySpace, and add me to have a reunion.

Hold on, I'm not saying your name sucks- just that it's unoriginal. I'm referring more to names like burr and Darkerline.

yeah, I found a blue one on Apple.com, inverted the colors,cropped it and blew it up. I'm not sure it's legal,though (copyrighted material). If anyone challenges me, I'll take it down.

Years ago, for some MMORPG, is when I first thought of it. I forget how, though. It's stuck since then.

As you may have noticed, my screen name came from my favorite NFL team, the New England Patriots.

Using only one screen name (your favorite) is what I do. You first have to come up with one though. Using your name sometimes works, but due to internet predators and stuff some people may not want to. Sometimes using something you like or your favorite of something, like sports team, is a good idea. I personally like to just make up mine. I don't like using numbers or random letters as I like screen names that could possibly be real.

I suck at creating screen names too. When I was signing up for a forum (I think UTI) I couldn't think of one and thought to myself "this is simple, why can't I think of one", so I just picked simplethinker (original, ain't it?)
The other screen name I use (DrUMBBOI) my sister actually gave me when she was helping me set up an email account. I used to play the drums, so that's where the drum comes from. If you forget about the 'r' (that's why it's lower case) it looks like 'dumb boy', and that's where the "my sister" part of the explanation comes in.
