Over Memorial day weekend, a student from my school was arrested by police on 6 counts of manufacturing explosive devices, and counts of attempted murder. This arrest was the result of a lead from a student who realized something was wrong, when the suspect was speaking of manufacturing explosives in class. The world will never know why people do or don't do things, such as why other wittnesses of the conversation never spoke up, but that one student who spoke up is a true hero, possibly saving many lives. The story was covered on FOX news on Sunday, and since Thursdays arrest, the hashtag #WAStrong has exploded (metaphorically) on Twitter. Always do the right thing, even if it risks a friendship.
