How long can I make my program?

We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). Both are active, well-established forums with their own archives, chatrooms, reference material, and abundant coding tools and resources. We'll see you there, we hope.

How long can I make my program?

I'm writing a really long program and as soon as the program gets over 3080 lines long TIconnect tells me that "one or more files are invalid" I'm not sure if it's because of the length of the program or something else I'm doing. I tried deleting the section of the program over 3080 and it exports fine. I also tried copy pasting part of the program that I know works over the 3080 mark and it doesn't work. I really want to avoid nested programs because it will make label jumps between the two programs difficult. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, it would be a huge help. Thanks!

You could try making it in TokenIDE, and compiling it there before using TI-connect to send it to the calculator. It may have something to do with how the compiler on ti-connect works
