Hi, my name is Stefan Bauwens.
I live in Belgium and I'm 17 years old.

My hobby's are programming on my calculator, drawing, singing…
I have already programmed in Ti-Basic and in Newprog on my TI-89's and in Axe on my z80 calculators.
My greatest program, that you may know me for is Myst 89, a TI-basic game that won POTY 2011 on Ticalc.org

It's nice to see you on the site! I agree with Xeda that your TI-89 Basic prowess would be much appreciated on the site, since there aren't many 68k coders on the site currently. I also think you're being too modest, as winning a POTY award at ticalc.org doesn't just happen to everyone… If you don't mind me asking, how does that rank in terms of greatest moments in your life? Top 3? Number one? :P

Hmm, actually now I think about it, it was quite a big achievement for me.
I think it defenitely was my biggest acchievement so far, and it'll surely be in my top 3 I think. I'm just afraid to say where, since I might be forgetting something else great. :P

Yeah, I believe that… I think TI-Basic programs are always discriminated against on ticalc.org, so it's good to see them get some exposure. What projects are you currently working on?

Officially I'm working on "Project Mine", a scrolling (minecraft) platformer in Newprog for the 89. However, I haven't worked quite a while on it, and I'm planning on changing it to a scrolling RPG-ish engine instead. Perhaps even MinIcraft? Anyway, I've pushed that on a side for now since I'm unofficially(:P) working/testing on some mode7 programs I made in TI-Basic(for now). I've gotten so far to draw a (monochrome) sprite (e.g:16*16) in mode7 "style" on my calculator. But since it's basic it draws awfully slow and is unusable as long as I keep it basic. I've never learned really anything about mode7, but I've figured my won "algorithm" for it.
I will try to implement scrolling and such things, and then try to port it to Newprog and see if that'll help the speed enough. :)

That sounds like it will be a fun game when it is completed… You should create a new thread for your game in the projects section on the forum, and keep us updated on how it is coming along.

Well, since it's unofficial yet, and mainly since there isn't that much of progress yet, I would preferably wait still bit longer till I'm quite sure it can work out and have gotten some more progress. :)

Yes, you definitely are better than I am XD I am able to make quadratic solvers like crazy, though. And I can use the IsPrime() command to create an awesome program that tells you if a number is prime or not >.>

Actually I've never really made utility programs for my calculator.(Well, I've probably made some programs in school to help me speed things up though).
