expr(str) returns the string as a expression
how could you convert a variable to a string?

Converting variables is actually a good idea for a new techniques page! It really depends on the variable that you are talking about, but the best explanation I have seen is in The Complete TI-83 Basic Optimization Guide by Arthur O'Dwyer. The link is on the Resources page. I hope that helps.

I think it would be better to just create a separate converting variables page, because there's lots of different ways you can convert variables: Matr>list(, List>matr(, expr(, short routines, etc. That would allow us to have all that information on one page.
