I have been making use of this program, designed for seafarers and marine college students, that can calculate various things regarding courses and stuff. I am not 100% familiar with how things usually are programmed in TI basic, but i got kind of annoyed by how this program is set up. It has a different program for literally every function. Amongst other reasons, that made me decide to recode the program for android.
Basically i have been looking into this TI basic program, to see how it handles stuff, and then I recreate the working in java (android). Now i have stumbled upon a function or symbol that i do not understand what it does.

(i decided to post a part of the code until a pause point, so maybe the context can help out).
Basically i understand (and made working in android) what the program does, until the part where it hits the
I have not been able to find out what this part of the code does, especially the ► symbol leaves me confused. It seems not really possible to google it, and when i copy it from ticoder (the programs are protected and so cant edit them on my TI84) at leaves this symbol å .
I hope I have provided enough information and I hope anybody could help me.
