My NSpire has started being weird and only saving programs as copies, ie: fight1,2,3,etc whenever I store it with ctrl-b. I've tried deleting the offending programs and renaming the copies but it just ain't workin

Sorry, I am not too familiar with the NSpire (I don't have one yet). However, if it is anything like saving a file to a computer, there is probably an option to "save as" and to "save". Are you just saving it, or are you doing a "save as" function?
