Now, instead of using variables, you can use a list for your high score. (Like a list called ⸤G for example) Why I say this is that variables are more likely able to get messed up, and sometimes erased in case of an accidental RAM clear, or a crash. I'd add a CLASSIC command at the beginning of your program to improve performance.

So, how would I go about that? I'm still pretty new to this, so I don't really understand lists. Also, I can't put in a CLASSIC command, as I'm programming this on my TI 83+(see compatibility on the command's page.)

Sorry, I didn't realize that, you see, this is the first operational game I've made in TI basic from scratch, and I'm not all that great at it yet. But thanks for telling me, I'll be sure to patch that on v1.3

Well, having entered that into my calculator, it seems to have slowed down significantly, and it is much harder to see the gaps. I think I'll try to merge this list-based version with my faster, variable-based version. Thanks so much for the feedback!

I still have it slow for testing. If you put 1->D instead of 15->D and you use 4->R instead of 6->R it should speed up considerably

I could, but you would probably want to enable 2d movement for the "ship" instead of just 1d movement. I also looked through some of your previous comments and you said it was much harder to see the gap on one of them. I don't know why this would be, since I used the same method of displaying the meteors as you did. I also made some modification to my previous code to make it more responsive, and sped it up. I could also add a short segment of code to make it start slow and slowly get faster if I wanted
