We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). GPA Program Help

I am trying to create a program that would calculate your GPA from ALL 8 CLASSES, and the end results would be:

• Show your current GPA (Calculated from your inputs)
• Show the required/needed GPA to pass/graduate
• Show the minimum GPA to pass

I have done some research, but none of my research is good enough.

I am wanting to calculate the current GPA from all 8 classes, and the user inputs the grade percentages from those classes using the Input command, and from those input will calculate the current GPA and the GPA needed to graduate/pass Middle/High school, or college.

Isn’t the required GPA to pass Middle/High School, or College different? Doesn’t it depend on the school?

The gpa to graduate my high school and my college are different, not to mention that not all schools have the same number of classes, or a student might not take the same number of classes each term. Some schools also have weighted gpa where an A in an honors or advanced class adds more to your gpa than an A in a standard course. Other schools even have gpa by credit, where each class is a certain amount of credits and the greade you get is factored in once for each credit. (Example: A in a 4 credit class, B in 3 credit class, A in 3 credit, C in 2 credit: (16+9+12+4)/12 = 41/12 = 3.4166)
