I'm confused… I see no profanity?
Thats cause it was removed
Oh, alright. Well getting back to the topic at hand, your post doesn't exactly have enough info in it. All I see is "no. I'm done".
However, based on the title, I'm going to take a guess here and assume you're having problems taking a screen capture in TI-Connect CE while a program is running. On my calculator and computer, I'm perfectly capable of taking a screenshot no matter if I'm on the home screen, running a TI-Basic program, an Assembly program, or an app. I would suggest making sure your cable is completely plugged in, and you have the most recent software for both your calculator and TI-Connect CE. If you have more info relating to your issue, it would be appreciated.
I mean when I'm inputting text its fine its when I'm in a for( or getKey loop that it fails to communicate.
I also used TI Connect (not ce) and it said the calculator is connected, but failed to get status.
So how did these guys get a screenshot of a program running in a loop? I'm guessing they used an assembly program to graph whats on the home screen and downloaded it.(/minesweeper)? I'm also running the latest version of ti connect and my computer is windows 10 and calculator is new.
It is not possible to take a screenshot during active program execution. If you want to do this, you will need to use an emulator, such as jsTIfied, Wabbitemu, or CEmu.
It is possible to take a screenshot while executing a program. Here is a screenshot I took while executing my PongCE program just now:
The yellow circle is the proof that this was taken while the program was running.
EDIT: If I could get the image to show up, anyway…
EDIT 2: Okay, I uploaded it to Imgur and added a hyperlink to that page.
We have determined that the screenshot feature will also work if there is a getKey command in the part of the program being executed. The getKey command performs some linking operations, likely for keyboard input. With this in mind, I will revise my answer:
It is not always possible to take a screenshot during program execution. Certain user-input commands within a TI-BASIC program, including Pause, Menu(, Input, and getkey, will allow screenshots to be recorded. This means it is also often not possible to take screenshots while running some assembly programs that don't use _GetKey.
GUYS
I'm not using a ce I'm using ti 84 plus without color
I am using justified
(I hate autocorrect)

Please try not to double post, there is an edit button in the options menu on your posts.
I have found that on my computer, TI-Connect does not work either. However, TI-Connect CE does work. While it was originally made for the color calculators, it will work with a non-color 84 as well.
I WAS USING CE
I mesn ti connect ce
the error said IT looks like TI_84 has stopped talking to TI_CONNECT CE
In all of your previous posts, you said you were not using a color calculator, and in one post you specifically stated you were using "TI Connect (not ce)"
