Yeah I kinda figured i would try to do some stuff like this. However, according to something Calc84maniac heard, when your For( statement only contains one If statement and nothing else, it goes considerably slower. Closing the For( parhentesis makes it faster. So I figured I would try this and it fixed the problem.

I wonder if a TI-OS glitch page should be started on this wiki? This might actually help some BASIC programmers debugging their games when their code looks correct. The worst glitch of all gotta be the massive string concatenation storing, but I didn't got able to figure out how big the string and how many concatenation must occur for this glitch to happen.
This makes me wonder if this isn't what caused Zelda Dark Link Quest and Metroid II Evolution to run that slow. I even noticed some minor slow downs in Metroid II at one point during gameplay, even if I don't use any Gotos
