Having ENORMOUS difficulty with ROMs

I have spent the last hour trying every emulator I can find, and none of them will download my ROM. Apparently half of the emulators out there don't even support TI-84+SE, and the one's that should, it doesn't work.

PindurTI gives me a light blue box that doesn't do anything.
Virtual TI asks me which cable I'm using. Possible options? Graph-Link and Parallel Link. Problem: I'm using the USB connector.
Everything else I can't even load.

Any help? I'll be able to use VTI as soon as I can get my ROM image on my hard drive, no matter from where.

Never mind, I got it working with rom8x, then realized VTI doesn't support 84+, so I used TiLP. Seems to be working.
