Hello everyone! I am here trying to get setup to program on my computer and send those programs to my ti-89. I am familiar with programming and a little bit of ti-basic's syntax. The problem I am having is the links(on this website and others) to setup my computer to program my ti-89 are outdated, or don't work. Forums everywhere don't really have any recent information on downloading a virtual ti-89 to test programs, or how to get those programs to your ti-89. ti-connect doesn't work for me for some reason and I have tried TIEmu and tlp and a few other programs that just don't seem to work on my computer, wont open, wont install, or I cant figure out anywhere explaining how to properly use these programs. I was wondering who out there has windows 10 and a ti-89 that could get me hooked up with programming. I really want to create programs to solve engineering problems on my calculator that are specific to what I want, and it will really also help in understanding how the problems work. Its a good study and problem solving technique I like to use with math problems. I would like to avoid programming on my calculator exclusively since it is really really slow and tedious. Any help would be appreciated

We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). Both are active, well-established forums with their own archives, chatrooms, reference material, and abundant coding tools and resources. We'll see you there, we hope. |
