Hi everyone!

My name is George and I"m a student at Northern Arizona University. I've been dabbling in TI-BASIC on my TI-83+ since high school, and I'm hoping to start to truly understand the Tao of programming.

I'm a classic gaming nerd, and I'm looking forward to learn how to program games to facilitate students wasting time in their math classes. Kidding!

I've been doing pretty well, I think. I've been writing programs that spit out values for the various theorems in trigonometry. I found that writing the programs gave me a much better grasp of the concepts themselves.

I'm looking forward to learning from you all.

Well, Arizona is alright, I suppose. Our politics are kind of ridiculous though. There are a lot of white people and Mexican here, and a big chunk of the white population doesn't want to have Mexicans living there. It leads to some pretty ridiculous immigration legislation being passed. I'm a bit embarrassed by that, but has made the national news.

However, it's pretty big and has just about everything you can want. ^.^ If you can just stay out of politics, you'll be grand. I actually live in the Mountains of Flagstaff, AZ while attending Northern Arizona University. It's really hot anywhere but the Mountains in Flagstaff, AZ. 120 degrees F is something you definitely have to learn to deal with.

Just stay out of politics, or you might get shot.

Yeah, I really didn't plan on getting into the politics sector (I'd be going to UAT for a BS in game development and/or maybe MS in game production and management). That's actually one reason I'm not jumping on UAT immediately lol.
