If you have heard of the usb8x app and msd8x app for the ti 84, then you more than likely know that it allows you to access the usb port, and, with the help of a small adapter, you can access a usb memory stick. I have tried this on the ti nspire's ti 84 emulation mode and found it is not "compatible" with it because of some usb thing that all even numbered os releases don't do. is it possible to make this work on the ti 84 on the ti nspire's emu? If so how would this be done? I am going to search and research to see if I can't modify the source code for usb8x and get it to work.
You can also have a look at the information provided on Hackspire: http://hackspire.unsads.com/wiki/index.php/TI-84_Plus_Emulation#USB
It seems that the port remap within the emulator is currently unknown.
I am afraid it won't work on a Nspire, however I don't have much experience on it. may I refer you to www.omnimaga.org ? there is some more expertise about the Nspire there…
"Connecting a USB optical mouse with an adapter in TI-84 Plus Silver Edition mode makes the mouse flicker as in the TI-Nspire standard mode, but much slower (~1 second instead of ~0.2s)."
I got this quote from the end of the usb section here. (same link ExtendeD supplied)
Does this mean you can use a mouse with the ti 84 emu some other way and or use a mouse with the ti nspire mode or are they referring to the physical mouse and the laser inside?
