What do you guys think of the ads? I noticed the monetize option in the admin manager, and decided to try it out.

The ads only appear at the bottom of a content page.

A content page is … a page with content. The ads appear at the bottom of the page (see this picture). Do you see them now?

Oh, I see them in Opera. It must be the Adblock Plus add-on.

Of course, that makes sense. I thought I was going crazy because I know the ads show up, yet you don't see them :D

I didn't notice them either, since I had Adblock too.

From what I see, they're rather well targeted and might actually be of interest.

Any chance you could change the ad settings to text ads only? Advertisements with text tend to be at least slightly relevant and don't look annoying. Image ads, on the other hand, usually don't fit the site's color scheme at all, are fairly irrelevant (they seem to be advertising Adult Swim lately) and have distracting animation.

I did one better, and got rid of the ads. I think they were interfering with the content, and they weren't really generating a whole lot of money anyway.
