So in a program I'm making I want a parametric graph to be displayed. I don't want to use Dispgraph because it clears the rest of the picture, but I can't use Fnon because it's parametric and there's a domain error if I try to turn on either the X or Y. Help!!!
you can use StorePic # to save the image on the graph and then use RecallPic # to get it back after displaying the parametric equation.
as for the domain error, maybe you should change the t step into something not involving π or whatever the t value causes the error

Well, you see I'm working on a text-based game and throughout it the same functions are deleted and replaced and then displayed. I don't want the screen to clear and I don't think recallpic is quite what I'm looking for for that to work the graph would have already have been displayed, defeating the purpose.
Also is there any way to change the type of line a function is graphed with in a program (i.e. bold, doted etc.)?
Okay, I've figured out how to turn the function on, but how do I get it to graph without deleting everything else?
try the "GraphStyle(" function to change how the function is graphed.
I'm not quite sure what exactly your situation is with the parametric equations, but maybe this will help.
The only way I know to get functions and statplots redrawn is with the "DispGraph" command. This also does a "ClrDraw". If you want to redraw your functions, but don't want the graphscreen cleared, the standard workaround is
StoPic 1 DispGraph RclPic 1
hope this helps

Write a parametric grapher so that you don't have to mess with functions, and scale it so that you don't have to mess with the window.
Offsets aren't implemented in this program. To give it a square aspect ratio, set R=S.
What I ended up doing was essentially hand graphing it. I put the finished product in the Program Archives a couple days ago. There's a problem with that, though. The program screen for Yard Wars (as is its name) is all messed up and you can't download the file. Can someone fix that?
Here is what you need to do:
- On the bottom of the page, press the Files button.
- Click the "Upload a file from your computer" link.
- Click on the Select Files button.
- Find the image and upload it.
Once that has been done, I can do the rest.
