So I know that Basic Builder Apps slow down if there are too many subprograms. Does this still occur if not all the subprograms are actually in use each time the program is run. For example, would it still be slow if I had a main program wherein you could go to one of fifty subprograms. There would be fifty subprograms, but only one would be used. Also, would the slowdown occur if there was only one subprogram and it was reused fifty times?
as for the one prog with 50 subs, yes, it will slow it down, but it ultimately depends on the total size of all 50 subprograms. if each one is, say, 120 big, then probably not, as long as you have enough RAM. what basic builder does is it basically copies all of the programs into your RAM and deletes them when you exit the app, but it also compresses them. as for the one sub program used 50 times, again it really depends on the RAM available, but no, it should not.
