I have written a basic worm type game where the point is to not run into the trail you leave, and as one of the commands in the game I want is to use enter to pause the game, and display the text "game paused". unfortunately, in displaying the text, it destroys the lines below it, and leaves text on the screen after you unpause the game. is there any way to make this text go away and preserve the lines underneath?
when the user wants to pause the game, store the graph screen to a picture. display the text, and when the user un-pauses the game, clear the screen and then recall the picture. an example code:
If K=22:Then // or whichever button you set as pause
Thanks all, I solved this problem by displaying the "game paused" text while maintaining the graph like this:
If A=105 Then ClrHome Disp"","","PAUSED","PRESS ENTER" Pause DispGraph End
