When you hold down a button such as left or right, it will input once, wait a moment, and then if you are still holding the button it begins have constant input. For instance, if the character is programmed to go left when you press left, holding left will make it go left once, wait, and then slide left. Is there a way to avoid this pause and have instant constant input? In case you are curious, I am using this to make Breakout. Or Pong. Depends on how much work I decide to put into this.
