This might not be the right place to ask this. I've got a TI-84 loaded up with the TI-84 Plus (2.55MP) OS. I've realized that all it has for apps is some finance stuff. Is there any more recent OS that can go on the TI-84 hardware? Also, what apps/programs are the best ones to get for calculus and physics?

The finance app is all that comes with any TIOS. It isn't actually an app, technically, but that's for another day.
While there exist community made OSes, none yet are good for math and science (unless the developers of KnightOS managed to incorporate some of the open source libraries available for scientific math).
With that said, I suggest checking out various websites for apps and programs to download on your calculator. TICalc.org has a large repository, as well as this site and others in the community. Much of what you might need is already out there.
47%? Take a look and try to imagine how cool 100% will be. This has won zContest 2011 and made news on TICalc. This compromise between Assembly and BASIC parses like BASIC and is fast like assembly. Grammer 2
