Is there a way to start a program by pressing a button on your calculatror?
(By calculator I mean one of these: Ti-83/84, Ti 83+/84+)
For example if I press the MATH-Button, is it possible to let a secret menu appear instead of the MATH-Menu?
But if I don't press the button the program wont affect any other functions, so I can use my calculator as usually.
If this is possible, what do I have to do?
Im not a master of assembly, In fact I dont know anything about it. But, I do know what you need to do.
You need to set it up as a keyhook. Basically, whenever that key is pressed the keyhook will set a flag to bring up your menu instead of the normal one.
This program is just a Simple Application that installs a Raw Key Hook, that replaces the [Trace] Key with [Apps] key. Not sure if you can learn anything from that.
