Using TIGCC

We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). Both are active, well-established forums with their own archives, chatrooms, reference material, and abundant coding tools and resources. We'll see you there, we hope.

With help of this forum I feel comfortable using both Visual Basic and TI Basic, at least for general programming, and would like to go on to learn more.

I have seen comments that programming in assembly code is more efficient and faster than TI Basic. I find this interesting, but I think would be too much for me.

I’ve also been thinking about learning C and C++, and while it looks a lot more involved than VB and TI Basic, I think with time I could get with the basics.

I’ve been looking at the TIGCC website, where C programs can be compiled and used with TI calculators.

I would like to ask for any advice/opinions on the TIGCC website.

Also can I ask technical questions on TIGCC and C on this forum
