Hi everyone, I'm new here but I need some help with a program I am writing for my TI-83+ SE. Essentially I'm writing a fairly large program for tracking and doing auto calculations on data I get from work. Right now I'm just trying to nail down this one portion that adds data to a list and continues to until a certain key is pressed. So far I have this:
While $\theta \not=45$
Input "IA Cost: ",C
What I need help with primarily is with the list variable. The lists I have correspond to data on different days so I need the list which the information is stored to to be a variable list. I want to use a menu or subroutine to specify the list but how do I tell this program to use the specified list rather than L3 all the time?
Another thing concerning the list is that the lists should be empty at the beginning of the week because there is no data. So when I first go to use the program on a particular day, I get an undefined error because the lists don't exist for the dimensioning portion of the code. How do I get around this while still being able to append new data to a list?
This one isn't really that big of a deal, but is there anyway to interrupt the input process during input without pushing ON or using the getKey loop?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Its been a while since I programmed my 83 and my skills are rusty/noobish. Thank you!
