I am trying to make a game like curve fever, except with snake like controls. I have all of the moving and hit detections and everything, but I'd REALLY like this game to be multiplayer over the I/O cable. I was wondering what I could do to transmit data from one calc to another in real time(including the "tail" of the other player)
If you're talking about TI-Basic, that is completely impossible. To transfer data between the calculators, you have to pause anything currently running to send and receive data. Because of this, turn-based multiplayer games are the best for that. Real time is not possible.
