I am trying to make a program that runs on the basic principle of inputing A, B, and C into the calculator and having it store those variables into a quadratic equation (AX^2+BX+C) and then making the calc (a TI-84+) graph it. I have the input figured out, but I don't know how to make the calculator store the equation into, say, Y1 and graph it. Any ideas? I have seen programs that store things into Y-vars, but I couldn't figure out how they did it.
I tried this:
Prompt A,B,C (AX^2+BX+C)->Y1
Id didn't work because it says ERR: DATA TYPE and then takes me to where it says Y1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
