Does anyone here know how to make a name input screen?

I'm making a remake of MECC's The Oregon Trail and having trouble implementing a Name input screen and storing names in some variables to be called on later.

the game takes place all in the graph screen on a TI-83 plus if that helps.

If you want to have text input on the graph screen, you will have to implement this yourself using a combination of getKey and Text( with an intermediate mapping from the key code to the corresponding letter with sub(. Some of the techniques on the Custom Menus page might be useful.

An easier method might be to use StorePic to save the state of the graph screen, switch back to the home screen to get text input to a string with Input, and then use RecallPic to restore the graph screen.
