Is it possible to Archive and Unarchive things within a program, when I tried it, I got the error: ERR: INVALID. Am i just doing something wrong? I think it is pretty silly that you can't do something in a program that you can do at the home screen.
You can Archive/Unarchive Lists, strings, Pictures, Matrices, Real/Imaginary Variables, and most variables. BUT you cannot archive/Unarchive Programs
I expect TI did this to prevent people from accidentally archiving the program that was being executed, or the program that was calling the current one. It was too difficult to detect when it was legal, so they simply removed the function altogether.
@Builderboy, you ARE wrong there. A program can definately be archived, no doubt about it, apparently, you just can't archive anything FROM a program.
@Graphmastur, since there is no way to directly archive from a program, is there a way around that?

No. You would have to manually unarchive and archive yourself.
I assumed you were talking about inside a program. We both know you can archive/unarchive them from outside. But unfortunately, the only way to archive/unarchive a program from inside a program is to use an assembly sub-program
