Is he positive he fried the CPU? That does sound fairly crazy and possibly just a guess on his part (though it's not impossible). Did you try pressing the reset button on the back of the CE? Or pulling the battery out and putting it back in? When you do that the RAM will clear and should delete the program off your calculator.
Have you tried turning it on and off again? If that doesn't work, try taking out the battery for a few minutes. How do you know that the cpu is "fried"? What is the calculator doing when you try to use it?
