i have to do a "reverse string search" or whatever you call it. now i have a problem: i cant seem to find the right
equation to use to find the row and column that the data comes from. say:
look at the arrows, at 7down, 4across (60h,4h)

entire matrix turned into string (excluding the row/column numbers, so the first chars in the string are "52096A"...)
inString([the matrix in string],sub("00" [or whatever the string happens to be],1,2→A
"00" found at position 199
since 'A' is odd, (A+1)/2→A
that is the position of "00' if it were in a list: 100
```
now, how do i get the value "6 (down) 3 (across)" from 'A', or any value from any other value? none of the equations i
have come up with seem to work for more than that particular value, such as mod
```
int(A/16)→B
A-16B→A
sub("0123456789ABCDEF",B+1,1)+sub("0123456789ABCDEF",A+1,1)
EDIT: i think i figured this part out: maybe (A+1)/2-1→A, then the mod stuff for B
does not seem to work, since if A=132 ("cb" is string to search for), the answer will be "02", rather than "1f"
```
also, the found strings will not always be the correct one, since sometimes the strings are duplicated like
```
search: "AA"
somewhere in string: "0A A5"
i dont want to search the string 2 chars at a time with For(
```
