Hi all.
I'm about to take the plunge on a NSpire CAS for use at work as a Merchant Marine Officer. The calculator seems to do all I require (and x100 more) but I've a specific question regarding programming and graphical outputs.
On this websites NSpire Basic page where it covers programming with the NSpire, it states under the pros and cons that I can't get a graphical output from a user program…. Really? Like, REALLY really?
It seems such a fundamental part of a graphical calculator I have a hard time believing this. Or have I missed something? Is this for the older versions of the NSpire or is there a way of getting round this problem?
I aim to write some programs: 1st from a Latitude/Longitude input will model segments of Great Circles and solve interior angles of spherical triangles; outputting both in numerical and graphical form.
The 2nd, inputting a bunch of celestial coordinates then modelling them on a hemisphere. Again, outputting the results in bot numerical and graphical form.
Can this be done with the NSpire CAS?
Thanks in advance. Great website btw, I just stumbled upon it.
