Ok real intro follows: I haven't been active a lot on TI-BASIC Developper but I have been lurking in the TI community since Fall 2001 and participated in discussions since Summer 2003. I actually started programming for calculators on July 4th 2001 when I got my first TI-83+, after learning solely from the huge 9001 pages brick that came with the calc. I am the author of Illusiat, The Reign Of Legends, Reuben Quest and Mana Force series, Metroid II: Evolution, xLIB xLIB Revolution, Super Mario Smash Dance and Zelda: Dark Link Quest. I also uninentionally triggered xLIB birth (tr1p1ea started it in response to ROL3). I ran a real life TI programming team called Omnimaga from 2001 to 2004, then a website of the same name featuring calculator RPGs. Then the team died and I went part of Epic Programming Studio (which was originalled Dysfunction Programming and risen from the ashes of Drubu Productions in 2004) programming team, but was the only one who was really active toward programming and it eventually shutted down, so I started a forum at Omnimaga website and when interest risen I started a new programming team there, not only RPGs. In 2005 I started losing interest toward calculator programming so since then my interest have been rather sporadic. I can be one year without working on anything then suddently release a new game within 2 months. In 2007 I started a new forum about music but eventually Omnimaga shutted down after an unsolvable conflict with another community reached an uncontrollable peak. In August Omnimaga restarted from scratch and now I run both this site and my music one. I have been making music since 2002, altough I stopped between Winter 2004 and Fall 2006. I mostly do '90s style dance music.
Hi netham is a lobster
I'm out. I'm not going to name people who are the cause of my leaving (3, in particular) because I know someone will delete my posts, but I leave because of the increase in hostility from two members in particular and moderators advocating this behaviour. It looks like TI|BD is gonna decay like UTI, Revsoft and Cemetech did in a recent past due to similar events. All I have to say is that the TI community didn't become inactive just because of PSP, DS, mobiles and lack of calculator innovation (there's GameBoy emulators, 8 level grayscale, GS raycasters and new TI-BASIC/ASM tricks after all). It's something else that plagged most of the community in the past that has done some sort of ressurgence in the past 6 months on three other forums and more recently here. I was not offended by the two person who did it recently, I just am totally against such behaviour, as it has alerady scared too many people away from calculator programming in the past. I am not going to waste my time trying to keep more active places where this happen.
If anyone wants any question or want Illusiat 13 progress, I'm gonna be reachable on http://www.omnimaga.org, the only remaining hostility-free TI calculator discussion forum in existence.
If you are having problems with behavior of certain individuals, then please contact an administrator or moderator so they can handle the situation.

Well, so far, it looks like nothing has been done. Only my posts were deleted and the other posts are still intact. I always received an unfair treatment from the TI community (especially UTI and MaxCoderz) on that. This is why I stopped repoting posts to moderator and used self justice as mean to tell people to stop, because moderators are so stuck up on freedom of speech and becomes too lax on provocative comments. As soon as a member is sensitive, he's singled out.
Quite a bias, here, so I'm out. I,m certainly not returning to UTI either, as some ppl wanted me to do in the past, given that most active members involved here are active there.
DJ Omnimaga, you were banned from UTI for using an automated script to send hundreds of personal messages to a member. The words you used in that message were not very pleasant. After the warning process, you were given the OK to contribute positively again. Unfortunately, you decided the very next week to pull out your PM bot and do it all over again, affecting two members instead of just one. You took that extra chance and you blew it. Don't think UTI's at fault here.
The first bad thing I did on UTI that caused my warning to rise to 25% was send an angry PM to Recursive_Acronym and posting a copy of that PM in public in a topic where he commented. Darkerline would delete it and I reposted it until I got banned for a day. Then I left.
A few months later, I was annoyed at Neekstar and sent him mass hate PMs to tell him to leave. 50% warning + 1 week ban at this point
Afterward, I don't exactly remember the exact time, but I did the same thing with you and got banned again for 1 or 2 week (I don't remember, as I didn't return, afterward, but I am basing myself on what I remember from the UTI warning topic) with 75% warning. I do not remember sending mass PMs to a second person besides you at this point, though.
However, I would like to know to who I actually sent PMs the second time. Also, no bot software were used. I do not know how to find, make or use such things. I simply hit enter then backspace back and forth.
This stuff was done out of anger, altough it was wrong from me to do it. However, I still don't see how bad members should not receive punishment for bad stuff they did and only me should. But again, I guess that's how UTI's moderated now. People are moderated based on if they are sensitive or not.
Thanks. I don't exactly remember if I actually finally sent the tifreak PM since it was too long ago (I know on IRC he got the exact same message) and I copied/pasted the msg from IRC into the title, but this is evidence I must have did.
As for the ban lenght I do not remember. You might want to set it as banned if I am really banned, though.
How many others in the calculator community think that we're on the verge of collapse? Those who have been around for the last several years have seen those rants pop up now and then, but every one of them seems to be in your handwriting. If things just kept on getting worse each time, then how come they aren't so terrible now?
As for hostility, individuals will merit it from other individuals. Those who are overly-destructive will be confronted and/or dismissed, and the rest will move on; as such, the personalities of a few agitators will probably not be adopted by the more intelligent user base, which—let's face it—are more than enough to keep a community going.
Alright DJ Omnimaga, let me say right off the bat that sending me a PM threatening to report me. If you are going to say "3 people", you might as well say who. Come right out and say it. Don't send me a PM like that. If you have a problem with someone, tell them your problem. I want to know who you are talking about, but if you want to leave, then leave. But I am here to stay, and if you want to have a calm, civilized discussion, send me a PM, but this time, without the cussing. Hearing all of the problems you seem to have caused on the other site, I really don't feel bad for you. But seriously, next time you have a problem with me, come strait out and tell me what it is, without the threats, next time.
I would seriously love to know who you have a problem with, and why. Why don't you list that as a reply, and I will make sure that it is not deleted. I really want to know who you have a problem with, besides me.
I,ve sent a PM just now.
