I was writing a little program to bounce a letter between the sides of the screen and set up a Repeat, inside that I was attempting to use Output(1,X,"O"). This caused a domain error, and Goto left me beside the Output instruction.

Is there no way to use a variable number in Output()?

You can use variables in output, but you have to be sure that they don't go outside the bounds of the screen and are integers. On monochrome calculators this would be from 1-16 and from 1-26 on color calculators. The output page details when a domain error is given
