Was there ever a program for PC developed to allow TI-Basic entry on PC then transfer or while connected to Calculator?

Sorry for all of the posts recently. I don't mind trying to bring a little of bit of life to forums when I am learning the methods of the particular language.

That is great. Is there a way to do that offline? You know, securely on my PC?

I don't really want to connect to any of my devices, regardless of capabilities or age, via online facilities.

Is there a reason that this is online based?

You can always write programs in TI Connect CE, I know you said you have an 84+ SE and not a CE but it will still work for all things TI-Basic, and it's offline.

I think for sending programs you will still need the regular TI-Connect, as that one is designed for the monochromes. I'm unsure if that one has it's own program editor.

Also you may want to note that there are some commands on the Ti-84/CE that are not on the SE as it is a monochrome calculator. Most of them will likely to deal with color.

You can always use TokenIDE as an offline editor, it works well with TI-BASIC programs (not as good as SC3).

TI Connect CE is good for the TI-84+/SE/CSE/CE for sending and receiving and has good editing (though it lacks features).

So in my opinion, my choice would be TI Connect CE with TokenIDE as my editor.

You can use TI-CONNECT, and connect your calculator with a Mini USB to your PC, and program in TI-CONNECT.
