I would like to return a value that is calculated as the result of a program I have written, so that I can scroll up to it in MathPrint, on the main calculator screen, using the arrow buttons, then hit enter on it, so it is the live number on the calculator.

The problem is , after a program is Done, then if I try to scroll up, the results I have Displayed with the program, disappear, and the word Done is highlighted, and the prgmNAME is all that is displayed at that point.

Currently I have my program save the numbers I need to Variables A and B, but I would rather see them in the screen and be able to copy them using the MathPrint method.

Is that possible on TI-84 Plus?

If you put the value you want to return on the very last line of the program, without using Disp or anything extra like that, it will display on the screen anyway (because it is on the last line of the program) and you will be able to scroll up to it.

I don't supose that there is a way to transport 2 values from one program back to the calc screen?

Yes there is, just use a list.

Could you elaborate slightly on that? So, I will have generated 2 variables, say. A and B. Are you saying that I can add them to a list in a program, and then by putting L1, at the last line of a program, for example, have the both numbers displayed?

The numbers of a list do not seem to be usable in the way I mentioned above with MathPrint, so that each can be individually copied.

Yes, but you shouldn't have to store anything to an actual list if you don't need to. Just do this at the end of your program:

{A,B

The curly bracket indicates a list, and by putting the values inside it separated with commas, you can have the program display and return multiple values in a list format in Ans.

Yes, thanks. But those numbers in the list are not editable by MathPrint. They cannot be individually copied, for example.

Is there any way for them to be displayed individually, so that they may be copied for further use from the calculator screen?

You can only have 1 value in Ans at the end of your program. If you want to use those returned values individually after the program is done, you can use "Ans(1)" or "Ans(2)", the numbers being which element of the returned list you want to do stuff with. But at that point, I would think you're better off to just use A and B directly.
