Hello im looking for help with programing matrix outputs. Ive looked around my calculator and the forums a bit but couldn't find anything that would seem to do exactly what im looking for. I may have missed it (if so please excuse my mistake). Im looking to input 33 variables and output them as a table/matrix as well as get 2 totals out of it. I used to use ti-basic alot and im just getting back into it. Im programing on a ti-84+ce any help is greatly Appreciated. Thank you

If you need to do this in a program it is a bit tricky. However, if all you want to do is make a matrix on your calculator it is quite easy! Just go to the matrix menu (2nd,[matrix]), go right twice to EDIT, then select the matrix you want to edit. It takes you to a screen where you can change the dimensions of the matrix and then edit the numbers in each position!

Mr. Bob summed it up well. [2nd] [matrix] works very well for inputs and it works much like a list in the editor. For getting the totals you can use a For loop or one of the built-in commands.

I recommend checking out Matrices for more great info to accomplish what you need to!

Besides the documentation on matrices on this wiki, you can also look up a PDF version of your calculator's user manual. Just look in the table of contents and you'll be able to find some helpful information. I found my calculator's manual very helpful when I first learned Ti-Basic.
