I have been programming in TI-Basic for over a year now, and I have made many helpful math programs for myself and friends to use in math class. I noticed that the ACT (which I will probably take soon) does not allow calculators with CAS functionality. I know that the TI 83+ I own is not considered a CAS calculator, but I'm wondering if I'll be fine if I have apps like Symbolic or programs that I have made which perform symbolic math on my calculator. I don't want to break rules, but I also want to know if I can use some handy programs (I'm not worried about games I've made on my calculator :D) I made that do things like factor polynomials and solve equations. Anything will help, thanks. Also, I know that the SAT doesn't have any symbolic math related calculator restrictions.

Some questions about "CAS" functionality on my ti 83+ since I'll probably take the ACT soon.
