help me choose!

should i take "linear algebra and differential equations" or computer programming in VB and Java? i only have time for one of those classes, and i want to take both (because i dont know anything about either subject). Both teachers are great. both classes are on the same floor, so getting to either class takes about the same time.

any suggestions?

I'd say that would depend on what you'd be taking for college. If you're going on an engineering course, for instance, the LA/DE class is what you should be taking; if computer science is your thing, you should of course go with the programming class. :)

im going for information sciences/computer science/stuff like that. i love cryptography, and hope to learn to use it in the real world, not just for the fun of it

I'd go with LA/DE. I am really into programming myself (having attended several classes), but I still think that a firm mathematical background is incredibly important. If you could take discrete math that would be even better.
