3D Graphing

Hello. I was wondering where I could find a 3D Graphing App, OS, or program for the TI-84 Plus CE. My current OS version is 5.4.0.0034.

If there are any other programs, shells, apps, or stuff like that that would be helpful to have on my calculator, could someone share that with me? Thanks!

I already tried that file. It does not work. Maybe because it says it is for the Silver Edition, and I have the TI-84 Plus CE. When I try to move it to my calculator using TI-Connect, it appears as a valid file, but when I select it, it doesn't do anything.

Edit: Could it be that the program is outdated, and won't work on my OS?

Edit 2: I would prefer an app that works something like this, but this app doesn't work with my calculator. I think the file format is wrong or something.

I don't think anyone has made one for the CE. I knew of Kerm's program for the CSE, and the programs for the monochrome calcs, but I don't think we have one for the CE. That said, there are some BASIC programs out there, and they might actually work even though they were made for the monochrome calcs. The BASIC language on the CE variants should run most of the old BASIC programs, with some tweaks to accommodate the larger screen.

Okay. Could you point me to those programs? I have downloaded at least 5 different programs, but TI-Connect doesn't like any of them

You need to use TI-Connect CE, not TI-Connect. Kerm’s program that I originally linked runs just fine on my CE.

And it does not work. I need to do this through my Chromebook, as it is the only device I have available to me. Am I doing something wrong?

TI-Connect CE for Chrome OS is still in it's beta stage (0.1.0.9). It can only send BASIC programs to your calculator. Assembly programs it simply refuses. UNLESS you convert the program to an app var and somehow fool it to send it successfully.

It looks like both. I has this at the beginning, but then is Ti-Basic for the rest of it.
