"Virus"-like program

Create a virus-like program that will surely annoy the person you are pranking.
You may use any libraries and/or assembly programs.

Example ideas to do in your program:

* Execute random (non-erroneous) hex codes
* Rename random programs
* Delete random programs
* Mess with the calculator settings (MODE, graph, etc.)
* Make/delete random lists
* Goof around with the screen (contrast, display garbage, etc.)
* Disable [ON] key
* Create random junk programs
* Fake errors
* Fake messages
* Change time and date
* Toggle on/off LCD pixels
* Fake "crash"/RAM/ROM reset

Your main program MUST be in Basic but may use assembly/Axe/Celtic/Ice or Basic sub-programs.

Submissions due by May 16, 2020 @ 11:59pm
Whoever can create the most annoying program is the winner!
You want your program to be sneaky and foolproof. Disguise it with a name that isn't obvious (like FLAPPYB, MINECRFT, MAZE, SNAKE, etc.).
Present to the person and persuade them to try out your new "game". Let them try it out and go into another room. Let the games begin!

My Program

Here are my plans on my program so far:
[Steps with execution]

1. Enable OnBlock
2. Display "Virus activated. Things are going to get wacky here."
3. Do a long delay (so the program can parse files and store their names to an appvar)
4. Display random corrupt system tokens on the home screen
5. Paste it in the graph, invert the screen at random intervals
6. Display random characters and garbage
7. Make random programs with contents that can crash the calculator
8. Delete random programs and appvars.
9. Mess with the contrast and draw inverted squares
10. Change random settings on the calculator
11. Fake errors and paste them to the graph then invert
12. Set clock settings to random dates and times
13. Toggle LCD screen on/off
14. Fake RAM reset

One idea (not sure how to embed Assembly code in a TI-BASIC program yet) I have is a program that first disables the [ON] button for while the user is in a program, then in TI-BASIC does the following commands:

This will mean it will repeat that message over and over and over again, until (if they have an infinite battery (which I know is impossible)) the end of the universe (pretty much).
They will then have to remove one battery and put it back in (as the [ON] button doesn't work), which will result in a RAM clear.

The unfortunate thing about the program is the RAM clear would delete the program as well, so you wouldn't be able to fool your friend again, as they would know not to take the bait next time even if you did make a new program of the same nature (unless you embedded it in another program that was otherwise innocent, but eventually went to the program, which actually would be a good idea now that I think about it).

In any case it would be a good "virus" program and would teach your friend to archive all of their programs.

When I tested it in an emulator, I didn't need to install any other programs to stop the On break. Why is this?

It's an assembly program. Run with

Asm(prgmONBLOCK

Run it three times. Then try to turn it off. Some menus and screens disable this flag. Run the ONBLOCK program unarchived within your virus program.

All you need is the OnBlock program to disable the ON key. Note: Do not run this program in MirageOS. After program execution, the calculator will crash.

I'm saying that for some reason, I didn't need to do that. The On block worked without the assembly program even being on my calculator. Why do you think that happened?

The on button can't be disabled without the assembly program. The on button is kinda funny sometimes on the CE for some reason. Same with the normal 84+

Celtic 3 also has an in-built onblock function (use det(34). However, this will not work with MirageOS. It causes it to crash after program execution.

Not my program. The closest to "harmful" is a RAM clear. My program also executes random (pure) hex codes from the hexcodes page on here. It can only be harmful unless you tell (program) it to be harmful (i.e. run erroneous assembly codes)

Not really, the majority of computer virus is harmful and annoying. My program isn't harmful. The only way it can harm is crash the calculator on purpose.

No. If it's designed to be annoying and accomplish some purpose to do something annoying on the calculator, then post your submission under my original post.
