Where do I find the XorPic, RclPic, and AndPic commands? I can't find them in the catalog!

I am having a lot of fun programming my Ti 84 plus CE. I wanted to see if I could use sprites, making use of the RecallPic and StorePic commands. As i searched, I found a page on this site that talked about using sprites. I tried to look for the commands it was talking about, but I could not find any of the commands it was talking about in the catalog. (XorPic, RclPic, AndPic). Where are these commands?

I'm sorry, I just found out that these commands are for the ti 89, yet the information about them on this website states that they are available on all calculators. So because these are only available on the ti 89, how can I do sprites on the ti 84? The one big thing I want to do is recall a picture, but at a different location, as the RecallPic command draws the image in the same location every time.

You can recall specific sprites in certain locations, you just need the X and Y coords and the string containing the sprite information.
Making sprites on the TI-84 Plus CE is a lot harder compared to monochrome calculators.

What command allows me to do this? RecallPic does not let you input coordinates for where you want to draw it, it only allows you to type in what image you want to recall.

In pure Basic, there are no commands that do this. In order to recall a box, you need Assembly. Specifically, ez80.

Look on ticalc.org or cemetech.net to see if there are any programs that do this. If not, try to politely PM Xeda Elnara for help, she's great with Assembly :)

Oh, I get you now. I was using a for loop for a pixel art program, and the more pixels I placed, the longer it would take to redraw, because it has to place a lot of pixels. This is why I was wondering if I could simply recall images at different locations because I wanted to make a game, to make it faster. I now see that this cannot be done with TI-Basic, but thank you for helping out! I'll try to see if using a for loop method will be to slow or not, and I will definitely look into Assembly. Thank you!

Also, are there any different calculators that can do this better? You mentioned that monochrome calculators are better at this… which ones?

Well, the TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. They have fewer pixels (95x63) and making sprites are a whole lot easier than color calculators. The sad thing is, they only support Black, White, and Greyscale colors.
The TI-83 Plus and TI-83 Plus Silver Edition are okay, but it's a bigger pain-in-the-butt to transfer things to and from them unless you have a special cable. The TI-84+/SE accepts Mini-USB, which I bet you are likely to own one of those instead of the TI-83+ cable.

But either way, it's your choice. The TI-84s have time commands but the TI-83s do not. Plus the 84s are faster. You probably want to shoot for the TI-84+SE, but it costs more. The 84+SE is faster and has ~1.4MB of flash ROM, who could beat a deal like that?

Don't sell your 84+CE if you do plan to buy a monochrome. If you have two calcs, you could make multiplayer games or instant chats…

Sorry, I haven't checked here in a while… I'm not planning on selling my ti 84 plus CE (I need it for my math class), I was just wondering. Thank you so much for responding, you were very helpful! :)
